Why M2 / OP beats pure OP/OP.
This class teaches the M2 method for edges and Old Pochmann (OP) for corners — a much better beginner method than pure OP/OP. Fewer moves means significantly faster times.
Improving with M2/OP is easy, and transitioning into advanced methods like 3-style is much more straightforward. Times under 40 seconds are possible with M2, whereas OP/OP usually tops out at 1–2 minutes even with high TPS.
If you truly want to start the path to top BLD solves, podiums and records — learning the better method from day one is worth the effort.

You must know how to solve a 3x3 Rubik's cube, preferably with CFOP. You don't need to be very fast — averaging under one minute is recommended.
You should be able to follow scrambles and algorithms in standard notation.
Any eye mask works for practice — even a long cloth tied around the head will do.
